Who We Are

US Lacrosse is the national governing body of men’s and women’s lacrosse. The Pittsburgh Chapter of the organization serves as a regional governing entity with the shared vision and goals. The chapter has defined the following four goals for 2009:
1. USL establishes Western Pennsylvania’s lacrosse communication network.
2. USL assists at the youth and middle school grass roots level to provide lacrosse exposure and development at an earlier age.
3. USL assists coaches of all programs as the region’s lacrosse’s ambassadors.
4. USL supports initiatives to send its athletes to play outside the region, and to host events including teams from areas where lacrosse is more developed.
